Home Let's start with an introduction. My name is Sean Glendinning and you have found my company: Octane Software Development. We (me and the company) are located in Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan in Beautiful British Columbia. I graduated in 2001 with my Bachelors of Technology in Applied Computing Science from Thompson Rivers University (formerly University College of the Cariboo), and started this company directly afterwards. I have had a lot of success and the majority of my clients are now overseas. I keep my skills up to date (currently developing in PHP5 and MySQL 5) and specialize in Search Engine Optimization. I have now been to the Search Engine Strategies Conference twice in the last 4 years, the premier conference in Search Engine Technology. I am also a server administrator and database administrator for 95% of the sites I develop. It keeps me 100% aware of what is happening with the sites and how I can best optimize them. The fabulous design work for most of the sites is courtesy of Chris Arlidge of Steel Dolphin Creative. We work very well as a team and are able to produce web sites that are easy to use, update, and are visually pleasing. |
