flippin' Toronto

I'm hoping for a big second-half of the season for the Blue Jays, but the got beat in a pitching dual with Tampa Bay. Lilly did a great job but the bats stunk. Looking over the current stats, we have only 1 guy above .300 (Adam Hill) ... not too bad, but when you look at Tampa Bays record of 29-61 and ours of 44-45 with the same batting averages, it doesn't look too promising. And now, with Halladay out with a broken tibia, it's hard to stay optimistic.

well, at least, starting the 24th, i won't be worrying about it too much. I just booked my tickets to Spain ... 24-28 in Madrid w/ Anna, then we go to Ibiza on the 28th, till she leaves on the 1st. I'm "stuck" there until the 3rd because if I tried to leave any earlier, the flight we cost me 1000 EUR, but instead it's only 120 EUR ... fair compromise :)

come on Jays!!

The Jays started off the season really well, but have slumped to just above .500 ... which, in most divisions would be enough to stay in contention. But, with New York, Boston and Baltimore, all above .500 (and just above the Jays), it's going to be a tough year. Currently, the AL East is with the NL East in this respective, so I feel for them too, but only one other division even has 3, and they are being whipped clean by the currently dominating White Sox.
The allstar break is just around the corner, so lets hope that they can dominate in the second half of the season.

Quick note: ***king london has just won the olympic games for 2012 ... congrats ... except that they just voted Softball and Baseball out ... all cause no-one likes the Americans ... damn them.
PS - condolences goes out to the people in London for the recent bomb attacks in the subways ... i think the death toll has topped 50 now ... they're dubbing this 7/7.

1/4 million in debt ..

I've been talking to my roommate on MSN about some of the stuff that's going over here and the loans that I got to do this Fitness.com project ... with my mortgage and fitness.com, i owe over 1/4 million dollars ... that's flippin crazy!! This project better flippin' work, or i'm sooooo toast.

On another note, plans are changing faster than I can write them down. The international meeting is happening for the rest of this week instead of the end of the month. Not a major issue, but it's pushing back some of the Fitness.com stuff that we need to do ... but, it appears that it won't be much of a problem to still get a vacation at the end of the month, as long as I'm not gone for a long time.

Well, not much else going on, so I'm going 2 get off this damn computer (yea, ur right ... i probably won't).

Ciao
