World of Warcraft is a Feeling

World of Warcraft is a Feeling

You look good in high-res
You've got uber chat skills
Won't you grind quests with me - endlessly
Tanking mobs is my role
I maintain aggro
But the rogue doesn't know, he's not MT (main tank) tonight

World of Warcraft is a feeling
Who needs a social life
I can't wait to log in,
Hop on a griffin

Stockades, gnomer, SM
Won't you join me, on an instance farming run
Let me hit the vendor, free up some bag space
Once I repair, I'll be good to go

World of Warcraft is a feeling
Who needs a social life
Stratholme, Scholo, and UBRS
He just dropped my valor helm
How could I roll a 6?
Grats to my guildmate, but I can't believe this shit

This is the best game
This is the best game I've ever played
This is the greatest game
World of Warcraft you're the greatest game
World of Warcraft you're the greatest game
The best game I've ever played
Woah
I can't wait to log on
Hop on griffin
World of Warcraft, a World of Warcraft
A reality.

Server Up & Running

Well, I spend the whole day getting my Windows Web Server running again. I could've had it running in moments, but I decided to do some upgrades ... Apache 1.3 -> 2.0 ... PHP 4.2.3 -> 5.0.1 (or something like that anyway). Had some initial problems with MySQL as PHP doesn't come bundled w/ it by default anymore. The stupid error message talked about php_mysql.dll file, but the problem was actually libmysql.dll ... pretty gay ... thank god for google.

Anyway, I had to increase the buffer size of everything, but it seems to be working so far. I updated all the pathing using chdir('../') instead of hardcoding it with a define('VAR',/path') as that doesn't cross well from a Linux box -> Windows.

I also played with my laptop and talked to Dell. With XP re-installed, the USB ports work, so the only thing left is to figure out why the screen keeps dying. Dell says it's often caused by a power surge. Sure enough, an hour after talking 2 the support, the screen died ... so, I did the recommended steps and got it back up. However, if this happens on a regular basis, I'm going to send it back.

Well, that's been my day. My bro is coming up w/ his kids to do some work with me on his site, so it should be an interesting wknd.

Sorry, but i'm back

Not that anyone ever reads this crap (even me), but I've been a little distracted for the last while. I've just returned from Germany a couple days ago. It's nice to be home to my own bed, but all the rest of the stuff that is going on now needs to be dealt with. It's gonna be an insane next few months. Fitness.com is finally under our control, but that still leaves a ton of work for me. I was happy to hear that we are going to rent the French subdomain out which takes some of the work off my shoulders.

Ahh, the weather. I definately missed the sunshine as Germany wasn't quite as nice. Hate how hot my appt. gets, but I can live with it ... small sacrafice.

I started reading "The Da Vinci Code" ... love the book. I love all the facts that they throw in there (and I will be regurgitating many of them on here because I love them so much).

Broke up with my girlfriend last night. As great a person as she is, I'm not quite in the relationship mode. Too much crap on my plate to focus on a relationship ... which I warned her of and she recognized ... making this a more of a mutual break-up.

Spain. That was a lot of fun. Ibiza was a dissappointment because I expected all these clubs to be filled with people who love to rave, but it was filled with a bunch of Hip-Hop lovers that were taking a break in Ibiza ... they couldn't dance worth shit and the clubs were filled 10-1 of guys-girls. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I think I enjoyed Madrid a little more because we met so many cool people in the Hostel. I'm sure Ibiza would be a blast as a "guys trip", but wasn't as exciting for me as I thought it would be.
